Russia and exUSSR:The usual paper mail sometimes takes 3 weeks or more to reach a Russian addressee from abroad. If you have such problems while sending messages to somebody in the former Soviet Union, you are welcome to use the Telegram Gateway. You can send telegrams to any country of the world as well.

Russia and exUSSR:Your message will be re-sent through the Telegram Gateway as a usual telegram inside Russia and CIS. According to Russian postal rules, a telegram must be delivered within 6 hours and requires the recipient's signature. In many cases, a telegram is considered an official document.

Your return address for your correspondents will look like:

Once registered you will receive such P.O. Box telegram address. If you include it in your telegram, your correspondent can answer you via Telegram Gateway. Incoming telegrams from Russia to your address are free. She (he) can send you a telegram from any post office. A telegram will be forwarded to you by e-mail immediately after it reaches our telegraph machine.
